In this passage we have the beautiful story of Jesus being baptized by John the Baptist, the Spirit of God resting on Jesus' shoulder and the beginning of His public ministry. And then we learn about how Jesus, and many others in the Bible experienced seasons of wilderness on the heels of dramatic encounters with the tri-une God.
